Dishwasher Not Cleaning Dishes
Dishes coming out gritty or still dirty points at the wash motor, the spray arms or the water inlet valve — the machine is running but not moving enough water at enough pressure. Water temperature matters here too, and it is one of the things we measure on site.
Noisy Dishwasher
Grinding usually means something has reached the pump; a rhythmic knock is often the spray arm hitting a rack or a dish. Bearing noise on the wash motor is the expensive end of this and worth diagnosing before it takes the motor with it.
Control Board and Sensor Failures
Cycles that will not select, a panel that lights up and does nothing, or an error code on the display. Read us the code when you call — it usually tells us which part to bring.
Standing Water That Smells

Dishwasher Leaking Water
Door gasket, door latch alignment, a cracked spray arm or the pump seal. A leak that shows up only on certain cycles usually means the tub is overfilling — a float switch or inlet valve fault rather than a seal.
Dishwasher Not Starting or Stopping Mid-Cycle
Door latch and door switch first — the machine will not run if it does not believe the door is shut. After that, the control board or the thermal fuse.
Dishwasher Not Drying
The heating element or the high-limit thermostat on units that dry with heat, and the vent or fan on condensation-dry models — which most modern Bosch and Miele machines are.
Dishwasher Not Draining Properly
Standing water at the end of a cycle. Usually the drain pump, the drain hose, or the filter assembly — and on a recently installed unit, sometimes the disposal connection. The filter is the first thing we check, and it is checked before anything gets replaced.
Detergent Dispenser Not Opening
A dispenser that stays shut means the detergent never reaches the wash — dishes come out dirty and the machine looks like it is not cleaning. The dispenser latch or its solenoid.
Rust, Racks and Door Springs
Broken rack tines, a door that drops open instead of lowering, or rust at the tub seams. Racks, door springs and hinges are inexpensive parts, and we replace them in one visit.
